Tim and Allie, stranded in the desert after their car breaks down, seek refuge at a remote farmhouse owned by a peculiar man known as The Preacher and his Ukrainian wife, Oksana. Initially welcomed inside to use the phone, they learn that tow service will not be available until the next day. The couple is offered shelter for the night under strict instructions to leave by morning and avoid exploring uninvited areas. Although unsettled by their hosts’ eccentric behavior, Tim and Allie retire for the evening after dinner. However, Allie ventures out during the night and uncovers unsettling secrets about the property. She discovers that the garage has been repurposed into an eerie cult worship space and stumbles upon a dilapidated outbuilding, where faint cries of a child echo through the darkness.
