Hannah, originally born into the Gatlin, Nebraska cult led by the infamous prophet Isaac, returns to the town in search of her biological mother. Her journey takes an unsettling turn when she encounters a street preacher named Zachariah, whose cryptic presence sets the stage for further mystery. Shortly afterward, Hannah loses control of her vehicle and crashes into a cornfield. The local sheriff, Cora, arrives to assist and escorts her to the hospital for evaluation. There, Dr. Michaels conducts a medical examination, but Hannah's focus shifts upon discovering a shocking truth: Isaac, believed to have died years ago, has been alive but comatose in the hospital all this time. This revelation deepens the enigma surrounding Gatlin and its dark history.
