In 2017, following the remarkable success of the film *Bad Genius* in China and other regions, Wong Kar-wai took notice of Nattawut Poonpiriya and invited him to collaborate on a new film project. The development of this project began in 2017 and involved extensive discussions and meticulous planning. Over the course of more than three years, the creative team worked diligently to integrate various elements, ultimately crafting a cohesive and complete cinematic work.
