A film crew ventures into the Amazon River to document the elusive Shirishamas tribe, accompanied by an anthropologist and a local boat skipper. Their team includes Terri Flores, Danny Rich, Denise Kalberg and her partner Gary Dixon, Warren Westridge, and Professor Steven Cale. Along the way, they rescue Paul Serone, a Paraguayan snake hunter, who offers his assistance but reveals ulterior motives. Tensions rise as Serone's behavior becomes increasingly unsettling, especially when he clashes with Cale over tribal lore. When Cale suffers an allergic reaction to a wasp sting, Serone performs a life-saving procedure but subsequently seizes control of the expedition. His true intention emerges: capturing a massive green anaconda he has been tracking, driven by ambitions of capturing the record-breaking serpent alive. The crew, now unwilling participants in Serone's dangerous quest, faces mounting peril as they navigate treacherous waters and confront the looming threat of the deadly predator.
