The narrative unfolds a year after Peter, Susan, Edmund, and Lucy Pevensie left Narnia, though 1,300 years have passed in Narnian time. The once-thriving land has fallen under the oppressive rule of the Telmarines, foreign invaders who have usurped control. Central to the story is Prince Caspian, the rightful heir to the Telmarine throne, who is forced into exile after his uncle, Miraz, seizes power. During his escape, Caspian inadvertently summons the Pevensie siblings back to Narnia. Together, they take on the monumental task of restoring Narnia's freedom. With their guidance, Caspian rallies the native Narnians to rise against the Telmarine regime, striving to reclaim his throne and revive the glory of Narnia.
