In 1998, following the destruction of Cyberdyne Systems, Sarah and John Connor sought refuge in Livingston, Guatemala. However, their safety was short-lived as a T-800 Terminator, one of several sent by Skynet prior to its elimination, tracked them down and tragically killed John despite Sarah's determined efforts to protect him. Fast forward to 2020, a new threat emerges in the form of the Rev-9, an advanced Terminator sent to Mexico City with a mission to eliminate Dani Ramos. Concurrently, Grace, a cybernetically enhanced soldier from 2042, is dispatched to safeguard Dani. The Rev-9 infiltrates Dani’s workplace under the guise of her father but is confronted by Grace, who manages to escape with Dani and her brother Diego. Utilizing its unique capability to separate into a solid endoskeleton and a liquid exterior, the Rev-9 relentlessly pursues them, resulting in Diego's death and trapping Grace and Dani. At a critical juncture, Sarah Connor intervenes, employing military-grade weaponry to temporarily disable the Rev-9's dual components and rescue the pair.
