In the late 19th century, the world's largest sapphire, known as the "Blue Sapphire Fist," was believed to have sunk alongside a pirate ship in Singapore's waters. It was later recovered by Singaporean tycoon Chen Zhonghan, who incorporated the gem into the championship belt for the Zhonghan Cup Karate Tournament. Events took a dramatic turn at Marina Bay Sands, where negotiations between Liu Liang and Chen Xuelin reached an impasse. Shortly after exiting an elevator, Chen Xuelin was discovered fatally stabbed in a shopping mall. Her car, parked in the basement, was subsequently detonated, triggering a blackout and widespread panic. Liu Liang was found near her body, raising suspicions. Additionally, a blood-stained notice from the infamous Phantom Thief Kid was uncovered inside the elevator Chen Xuelin had used. To add to the chaos, Singapore's iconic Merlion statue inexplicably began spouting red-colored water, further deepening the mystery surrounding these events.
