This exquisite piece is scheduled for public exhibition in Osaka, drawing considerable attention from various parties. Authorities have been alerted to the potential involvement of the infamous phantom thief, Kaito Kid, who is expected to appear in Osaka on the nights of August 22 and 23. During a visit to the Suzuki Zaibatsu chairman, Conan, Heiji Hattori, and Kazuha Toyama encounter several individuals with vested interests in the egg, including Sergei Ovchinnikov, a first secretary from the Russian embassy; Kanjo Inui, an art dealer; Seiran Urashima, a Romanov dynasty scholar; and Ryu Samukawa, a freelance visual artist. Each of them expresses a desire to acquire the artifact for their own purposes. The chairman emphasizes that safeguarding the egg against potential theft by Kaito Kid is of utmost priority, postponing further discussions about its future. This discovery has set the stage for intrigue and heightened security measures to protect the valuable historical treasure.
