Conan and Professor Agasa, accompanied by the Detective Boys, embarked on a camping trip to a mountain in Nishitama City. During the night, Haibara was caught by Genta secretly making a phone call, which she firmly denied, raising Conan's suspicions about her hidden motives. On their way home, the group decided to visit Nishitama City's Twin Tower skyscraper, renowned as Japan's tallest twin-tower structure. Coincidentally, they encountered Ran and Kogoro, who were invited to the building by Michiyo Tokiwa, Kogoro's former university junior and the owner of the towers. Guided by a secretary, the group toured the facility's cutting-edge technologies before heading to the 75th-floor banquet hall to admire Mount Fuji. However, Conan noticed members of the Black Organization, Gin and Vodka, within the building. Their presence hinted at a deeper connection between the organization and the skyscraper, compelling Conan to investigate further.
