Fifteen years ago, the cargo ship "Daihachi Maru" encountered an iceberg in the North Atlantic. Despite the urgent order from the vice-captain, Kaito Watari, to steer hard to port, the vessel grazed the iceberg, causing significant damage. A third officer rushed to inform the captain but discovered he had already passed away under mysterious circumstances. Shortly thereafter, Kaito entered the captain's quarters and was reportedly seen with an unsettling smile. Not long after, the "Daihachi Maru" sank into the depths of the ocean. The remaining crew managed to escape using lifeboats; however, neither the third officer nor several crew members were ever seen again. The incident was officially attributed to an error in judgment by the late captain, though lingering questions remain regarding the chain of events leading to the disaster.
