The Randhawas are an affluent Punjabi family, proprietors of the renowned confectionery enterprise, Dhanlakshmi Sweets, which thrives under the leadership of the commanding matriarch, Dhanlakshmi Randhawa. Her husband, Kanwal Lund, faces physical and cognitive challenges, being wheelchair-bound and experiencing memory loss due to a prior accident. Their son, Tijori, shares Dhanlakshmi’s authoritative disposition, exercising significant control over the household. Tijori’s immediate family includes his compliant wife, Punam, and their two children, Rocky and Gayatri. Together, the family dynamics reflect a structure deeply rooted in hierarchy and traditional roles.
