In 2024, Kabir, now operating as a freelance mercenary, continues his covert missions following his departure from RAW five years prior. After eliminating a gangster in Japan, he unknowingly becomes a target himself when a client in Germany drugs and transports him to India. There, he is introduced to the Kali Cartel, a formidable criminal syndicate aiming to infiltrate and dominate the Indian government through its network spanning India and neighboring countries. Unbeknownst to the cartel, Kabir's apparent rogue status is part of a larger deception. Two years earlier, Colonel Sunil Luthra had covertly assigned Kabir the critical mission of infiltrating and dismantling the cartel from within. This strategic move required Kabir to sever his public ties with RAW, creating the illusion of a mercenary for hire while working undercover to protect national security.
