Sage Kashyapa, while engaged in his evening prayers, is approached by his wife Diti, who expresses her desire for children. Despite Kashyapa's request to wait for an auspicious time, Diti insists, leading Kashyapa to reluctantly comply. The following morning, Kashyapa reveals the consequences of their union at an inauspicious hour: Diti will give birth to two powerful yet malevolent sons who will challenge the gods, spread terror, and ultimately meet their demise at the hands of Lord Vishnu. True to the prophecy, Diti gives birth to Hiranyakashipu and Hiranyaksha, who are later trained in tamasic knowledge and mystical arts under the guidance of Shukra, the preceptor of demons. As they grow in strength and ambition, the brothers launch a campaign of destruction across the universe, setting the stage for their eventual confrontation with divine forces.
