In the District and Sessions Court of Bikaner, Rajasthan, Rajaram Solanki, a poet and farmer from Parsaul village, faced the loss of his mortgaged agricultural land to local developer Raghunath Bharadwaj due to his inability to repay outstanding dues. Despite efforts by his widowed daughter-in-law, Varsha, to contest the legitimacy of the transaction by alleging forgery in the documentation, her concerns were dismissed without proper consideration. Overwhelmed by despair and the weight of his circumstances, Rajaram penned a poignant poem expressing his grief over losing the land he had hoped to pass on to his late son and lamenting the plight of farmers. Tragically, he ended his life by drowning, leaving behind a somber reminder of the struggles faced by rural communities in safeguarding their livelihoods.
